Uttoxeter Heart of Oak Morris Men.
Formed 50 years ago
and based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, the Club is still
going strong. Dancing English Cotswold Morris, Rapper
and Longsword, you will find us at venues around East
Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.

Recruiting 2008
You
can do this!
Uttoxeter Heart of Oak Morris is recruiting six men for a
new Morris Team to dance out with Uttoxeter Morris in 2008.
Training will be given during the winter practice season to
prepare a new team of men for next years dancing programme.
Recruits will need to
be:
- Over
16 to any age.
- Fairly
fit and have reasonable coordination.
- Willing
to attend fortnightly practice sessions (alternate Thursdays 8pm
– 10pm).
- Dance
at bookings on occasional Saturdays or Sundays.
- Prepared
to enjoy yourself.
In return you will get
to:
- Learn
a unique English tradition.
- Acquire
new skills.
- Make
friends throughout the UK and beyond.
- Learn
something about part of your cultural heritage.
- Keep
fit.
- Have
fun and a few beers in good company
You do NOT need to:
- Have
a beard.
- Be
a ‘folkie’.
- Be
mad - but it helps a bit.
